2. Drive to Matanuska Glacier

4. Return to Anchorage

After a day filled with awe-inspiring moments, you’ll head back to Anchorage. Reflect on the incredible sights and experiences from your glacier adventure. You’ll be dropped off at the original pickup point around 5:00 PM, leaving you plenty of time to continue your Alaskan journey or relax after an unforgettable day.

Check-in Details

For the Matanuska Glacier Hike & Tour, it’s important to arrive at the Downtown Anchorage Visitors Center (546 W 4th Ave) at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. This allows us to ensure that everyone is properly checked in and ready for the adventure ahead. While you don’t need to arrive excessively early, being on time helps the tour run smoothly and ensures we can depart promptly. If you're driving to the meeting location, we recommend parking in the garage between "A" and "C" Street, across from the Downtown Avis. This location is convenient because you pay at the toll gate, and if we are delayed in returning, you won’t get a ticket. Once you arrive, our team will check you in, give a quick briefing, and make sure you have all the necessary gear for the hike. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out before the tour. Being prepared ensures you can start your day with minimal stress, and you can get straight to the exciting adventure!
