Pickup at 10:45 AM from our downtown office, located at 508 W 3rd Ave. Your guide will greet you and get you ready for the adventure ahead!

Scenic Drive Along Turnagain Arm

Travel along the Seward Highway, a National Scenic Byway, as you marvel at the breathtaking views of frozen waterfalls, snow-covered mountains, and the icy waters of Turnagain Arm. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as moose, bald eagles, and more.

Beluga Point Scenic Area

Stop at Beluga Point for stunning photo opportunities and a chance to enjoy sweeping views of the water and mountains. This is also a great spot for wildlife!

Portage Valley

Journey through Portage Valley, a majestic glacial valley surrounded by towering, snow-capped mountains. Learn about the history and geology of the area while taking in the incredible scenery. Note: We do not stop at the Beluga Point parking area. We pull up just ahead to avoid crowds and give our guest elbow room to have uninterrupted views.

Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC)

Explore the 200-acre sanctuary, where you’ll get up-close views of Alaska’s iconic wildlife, including moose, bison, musk oxen, and bears. Your guide will share insights into the animals’ adaptations to the harsh winter conditions.

Return Scenic Drive to Anchorage

On the way back, relax and enjoy the winter landscapes as your guide provides additional stories, insights, and interesting facts about the region. Return to Anchorage by approximately 3:30 PM.

Check-in Details

Time: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth check-in process. Location: Check-in will take place at the Anchorage Visitor's Center, located at 546 W 4th Ave, Anchorage, AK. Parking: The best parking option is the garage between "A" and "C" Street, across from Downtown Avis. Pay at the toll gate to avoid getting a ticket in case of any delays. What to Bring: Have your booking confirmation (digital or printed) ready for easy check-in. Departure Time: The tour will leave promptly at 11:00 AM, so please allow enough time to park and check in before then. Arriving early will give you time to settle in and enjoy the anticipation of the adventure ahead!
